Williams explained that she's just started her own production company, and that she's keen to get more involved in the world of independent films.

She appeared at the British Independent Film Awards on Wednesday to announce the nominees, and told BBC Newsbeatshe's keen to make and star in an independent film herself.

"I can show the world what sort of actress I want to be and shape my career a little bit," Williams said.
