Sabrina the teenage witch is Foreign Archivesabout to get the sexy noir CW treatment.

The network that brought you Riverdaleand Greg Berlanti's D.C. universe superhero shows will develop The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a horror drama set in the Archie Comics universe.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrinais a take on Sabrina the Teenage Witchthat dives into the darkness of witchcraft and the occult. A press release described it as "tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Babyand The Exorcist," so don't expect any pop star cameos in this iteration.

The series will be executive produced by writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and director Lee Toland Krieger, as well as Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Jon Goldwater.
